Visual working memory
Proactive interference in visual working memory, tested online and in the lab
The Early Minds Lab at UMass Boston built a new object-location memory task in lab.js and ran its first experiment on Open Lab, with 43 Prolific participants taking part from home. Memory for an object's location was less accurate when that object had appeared on earlier trials. The team then replicated the effect in two laboratory experiments with eye tracking.
