Who can do what.

Every Project has one Owner and any number of Collaborators. Each Collaborator is assigned a role that precisely controls what they can see and change.

Subscription

The number of Collaborators per Project is set by the Owner's subscription. Collaborators do not need a paid plan of their own — they inherit access through the Project.

Owner

Full control.

The researcher who creates a Project is its Owner. They have full access — including editing, data export, team management, and billing.

  • Can delete the project and all its data
  • Manages collaborator invitations and removals
  • Owns the subscription and seat count
Collaborator

Scoped access by role.

Collaborators get one of four roles — Editor, Viewer, Data Analyst, or Participant Manager. Each role is precisely scoped to a task.

  • Invited via email by the Owner
  • Access is Project-scoped, not account-wide
  • Can be removed at any time by the Owner
Subscription

Team size follows the plan.

The number of collaborators you can invite depends on the Owner's subscription tier. Collaborators don't need their own paid plan.

  • Free tier: 1 collaborator per project
  • Pro tier: up to 5 collaborators
  • Enterprise: unlimited collaborators
