Your profile — researcher account
Participant app — app.open-lab.online
Connection — only when Active status
Profile

Your research identity.

Your public profile shows your name, institution, research interests, and active studies. It's the face participants see before they join.

  • Add a bio, institution, and research areas
  • Profile photo pulled from your account settings
  • Shown on every public study listing
Status-controlled

Visible only when Active.

Your profile appears in the participant app only when you have at least one Active study. Draft and paused studies don't trigger visibility.

  • No Active studies = no public profile
  • Visibility updates within minutes of status change
  • Your profile URL stays stable for sharing
Participant-facing

Builds trust before the click.

Participants browse your profile before joining. A complete profile with institution and bio increases participation rates.
