Every Study supports up to three enrollment modes. They aren't mutually exclusive — turn on any combination, and participants can reach you through whichever channel fits.

Copy the participant link and paste it into an email, message, lab page, or QR code. Anyone with the link can join.
Studies you make public show up in the Open Lab participant app once they are Active. Volunteers find you through search and browse — no prior contact needed.
Upload a list of email addresses. Each recipient gets a unique link tied to their identity — useful for panels, follow-ups, and within-subject designs.
Availability
Run a public listing for general recruitment and send targeted invitations to your panel — both at once. Direct links keep working in the background.
Public listing is off by default. Turn it on in the Invitations tab; the listing then appears while the Study is Active and disappears when you Pause, Complete, or Archive. Direct links work before the Study is Active; email invitations and joining by Study code need it to be Active.
Each recipient gets a unique URL bound to their address. If they share it, the second person can't claim the slot. Best when you need to know exactly who responded.
